HaLoH celebrates Indian Harmonica Day at the Historical Landmark Bansilapet Stepwell

On the 18th of November, a heartwarming event unfolded in Bansilalpet's Stepwell, where members of the Harmonica Lovers of Hyderabad (HaLoH) gathered to commemorate Indian Harmonica Day. The event held special significance as it paid homage to the father of harmonica in India, the revered Milon Gupta.

HaLoH members showcased their musical prowess by playing a repertoire of melodious tunes on their mouth organs, celebrating the rich heritage of Indian harmonica. The venue, Bansilalpet Stepwell, provided a picturesque backdrop, adding to the charm of the occasion.

The harmonious melodies resonated through the Stepwell, creating an atmosphere of joy and appreciation for this unique musical art form.



















The Harmonica Lovers of Hyderabad (HaLoH) express heartfelt thanks to the audience whose presence added warmth and enthusiasm to the celebration of Indian Harmonica Day.  They would also like to thank the Gandipet Welfare Society for giving them the opportunity to perform. Their support and appreciation amplified the joyous atmosphere, making the event a memorable tribute to the legendary Milon Gupta and the rich heritage of Indian harmonica.

HaLoH celebrates Indian Harmonica Day 2021 at Tank Bund

With the support of The Urban Forestry wing of the HMDA , TS Police, The Indian Harmonica Day event organised on the traffic-free Tank Bund last week had received a tremendous response, with hundreds of citizens thronging the area to enjoy the weekend with their dear ones.

Indian Harmonica Day Celebration 2020 @ HaLoH

 

Consecutively for the 9th year, HaLoH team celebrated “Indian Harmonica Day” on the 22nd of November 2020 at Indira Park where Team HaLoH have been meeting and celebrating harmonica since the past 11 years.
22nd November was the birthday of the Father of Indian Harmonica-Late Shri Milon Gupta, who popularized harmonica in India with his melodies and taught the harmonica to many Harmonica Lovers.
Harmonica Lovers of Hyderabad (HaLoH) organized a musical programme on harmonica by maintaining all the Covid-19 measures , The programme was successful and was appreciated by the audience ,the morning walkers of Indira Park.
All the Harmonica Lovers of Hyderabad enjoyed the event because we met after a long time and played music together. Few harmonica lovers like Bhavatharini , Rohit Varun , RaviBabu Shika and Sridhar Reddy gave their maiden performances for HaLoH.
We wish them the best of luck for their music journey with HaLoH.
